We used the video camera to film the footage that we would then edit of 'Adobe Premiere Pro'. I also used the camera to create backstage footage for our promotion packages for our ancillary texts. It was light weight and therefore had great portability. However, sometimes the quality wasn't as good as the images on the DSLR.

Mac/PC

We used a tripod when creating still/no movement frames for our footage. However, towards the end we starting using more handheld shots as they were more visually pleasing and interesting as a spectator.

Lighting

Standing Fresnel Lighting was used during the powder paint shoot, as it was created in the drama studio. I felt it made the shoot looked like it mirrored real music video professionalism. However, all other shoots we used natural day light. The only negative about the equipment is how hot the equipment gets. We had to take extra safety precaution.

I used both a Mac/PC for editing our footage and creating youtube clips. I also used them to edit my photos for my digipaks, create my digipak and upload any blogs/research I or the group undertook .

IPhone

I used my iphone for many different reasons. Both to contact the girls in my group on social media platforms and text, to research for the music video, find train times and also for a safety element. I knew I could contact someone if I were in trouble.

IPad

When filming we used my IPad to play the music for me to lipsync too. On reflection I would have also used a speaker to make the volume louder. I also used my Ipad, to create presentations that I used to showcase research on my blog.

To create the photography needed for the ancillary tasks, we used a DSLR to take the pictures. This meant the quality of the photos were far better and looked far more professional. Using a DSLR also allowed us to experiment between auto focus and manual focus.
